How to inspect stainless steel insulated cup?

How to inspect stainless steel insulated cup? When Doyoung has been trading with customers from various countries for over a decade, we have found that some customers do not know how to inspect stainless steel insulated cups. There are two main manifestations of this situation: one is that they do not have experience in inspecting stainless steel insulated cups, so customers inspect them according to their own ideas. Another approach is to know the acceptance criteria for stainless steel insulated cups, but still overlook some key aspects.

For the QC of the purchaser or ordinary consumers, the points to pay attention to when inspecting stainless steel insulated cups are consistent. This includes inspection of appearance, dimensions, touch, materials, and functionality. Of course, inspection of water cup accessories and accessories is also essential.

Visual inspection of Stainless Steel Insulated Cup

The appearance inspection includes checking whether the water cup is deformed, bumped, and whether the surface color is unevenly sprayed, rough, or has too many mixed colors. At the same time, it is necessary to observe whether the printed patterns on the surface of the water cup are clear and complete. For the QC of the purchaser, it is necessary to compare the color difference of the water cups that have already been sprayed together. Regarding the impurities or spots on the surface of the water cup, according to the current strictest water cup quality standards, if there are 1-2 impurities on one surface observed by the human eye at a distance of 50 centimeters, and the diameter of the largest impurity does not exceed 0.3 millimeters, it is a qualified product.

Dimensional inspection

Dimensional inspection includes checking whether the dimensions of each position of the finished water cup are consistent with the design requirements. This is mainly necessary for the QC acceptance of the purchaser. Ordinary consumers do not have a reference material, so there is no need to inspect this item. Is the mouth and wall of the water cup not a complete circle? Is the deformation severe. There are clear regulations in the quality execution standards regarding the roundness of water bottles. Is the mouth of the water cup flat? Does it affect the sealing function? Is the bottom of the cup flat? Is there any tilting or other phenomenon?

Touch inspection

The tactile inspection includes all spare parts related to the use of the water cup function, including the cup body, cup lid, handle, lifting ring, strap, lifting rope, etc. The tactile inspection should check for any burrs, protrusions, or areas that exceed the specified roughness. In addition to tactile inspection, it also includes olfactory inspection, checking whether there is any odor or severe irritant odor in the finished water cup and accessories.

Material inspection and functional inspection

Material inspection also includes all accessory materials related to the function of the water cup. Are the materials in contact with water food grade? Are other materials that do not come into contact with water harmful? Is it wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, etc?

Functional inspection includes the sealing, insulation, and completeness of accessory functions of the water cup. The method of sealing inspection is to fill the cup with water, tightly cover the lid and invert it for a few minutes. If there is no water leakage, it is qualified. The insulation performance and accessory integrity should be tested according to the design requirements.

This is the most effective and fastest way for Doyoung to conduct inspections in the water cup industry for more than ten years, which allows customers to visually and accurately see the quality of the produced water cups. In so many years of multiple inspections, Doyoung has always been able to pass the inspections perfectly, gaining the trust and love of customers.
